Puff Sculpture in Vintage Safe Deposit Box | Vertical Rainbow

The Puff Collection has been an exploration into my way of framing fiber art!

The vintage safety deposit box (so there may be a few nicks or dents here and there but it truly beautiful and was rescued from an old vault in the small town where I live) spoke to me as soon as I saw it and knew I wanted to try using it as a frame. All the fibers within the frame have been sourced from small businesses and put together to create a fun piece of fiber art that is fully contained!

There are handles on either end of the box - it can be hung by either side with a single, long nail or hook that is anchored OR let it sit on it's side or flat on it's back like a funky faux plant!  So many possibilities with this piece.
