Embroidered Fish in Teak Oval Frame | Water Line
Years ago, I made some embroidered brooches in these beautiful wooden frames sourced from a couple who makes them by hand (!!!). Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch.
Now I'm playing with some of their newer frames - like this fun fish!
I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a vintage teak oval bowl to pull it all together. I decided to really go for a waterline background in a slightly shimmery, blue so it really feels like the fish is swimming along.
*Teak outer frame is a used, vintage piece, which means it may have signs of wear and tear that only add to the story of the overall piece.
