Embroidered Bug with Ruby Jade Antennae | XL Flower Frame

Working on this piece was fun and getting to bring it to life with this XL flower shaped bowl was the perfect addition - it turned out so fun and full of magical details, like the wood grain and the Ruby Jade faceted beads.

Although I set out to make something Monarch Butterfly inspired, it has a lot of ladybug vibes - either way I love it!

I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a special, vintage teak bowl, to pull it all together.  The creature frames are handmade by a couple down in Florida, they're amazing and so fun to incorporate into my work. I love all the details in this piece and believe that larger size will really add a bold impact to wherever you choose to display it.

*Teak outer frame is a used, vintage piece, which means it may have signs of wear and tear that only add to the story of the overall piece.  

** It's best to hang your fiber art piece in a place that doesn't get direct sun and I don't recommend touching the fibers.
