Embroidered Bird in Rare Vintage Teak Flower Frame

Years ago, I made some embroidered brooches in these beautiful wooden frames sourced from a couple who makes them by hand (!!!).  Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch.

Now I'm playing with some of their newer frames - like this amazing folk art bird!

I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a truly special vintage flower bowl to pull it all together.  Though there are other vintage flower bowls that I've found, this particular style in this quality has been so elusive.  I only have one set of these and am using them for only very special pieces, like this one!

- 6.25" wide (outer Teak frame)

- 2.5" deep

- fully hand stitched in my favorite French knots

- keyhole on the back allows you to hang the sculpture flush, from a single nail
