This vibrant and joyful wall hanging feels like it is truly bursting with life!
The last time I have made a woven piece before this was almost 9 months ago. So many huge life things have come into play since then and neither my heart nor my hands have been ready to weave again - until now.
I was looking for a way to incorporate my beloved Puffs into a woven piece somehow and ended up finding a stash of Puff parts that I had put away for a personal project that I never ended up working on. That means each of these Puffs are filled with only my most favorite yarns and colors and textures. They are extra special in that connection to what I would have displayed in my own home.
By combining those Puffs with my signature weaving style - this tide pool filled with the most yummy anemones was born.
It feels hopeful.
It feels like a beginning.
It feels like joy.
It feels like it's alive.
I'm very thankful to have had the chance to work on this piece, to take what it has taught me, and now to share it with you.
