As soon as I saw this new bird shape, I just KNEW I had to try a pair of them sitting together on a wire. I'm so glad I did because this piece turned into pure happy vibes.
I stitched the centers in my favorite French Knots and used one of my favorite colorways in the inverse of each other for each bird. I used a vintage bowl/dish as the outer frame and a wire draped across the piece to give them a place to sit together. I made a shimmery, true "blue skies" color to really show off the special feel of the pair basking in the beauty of the day, and to make them pop!
I had a vision for this piece before I even started the embroidery and it turned out so fun!
*Teak outer frame is a used, vintage piece, which means it may have signs of wear and tear that only add to the story of the overall piece.
