Embroidered Hummingbird in Vintage Teak Frame | Rainbow

Years ago, I made some embroidered brooches in these beautiful wooden frames sourced from a couple who makes them by hand (!!!).  Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch.

I've had this hummingbird frame, handmade by the same artists, for a while - not knowing what I wanted to do with it.  Until now!

I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a stunning, vintage Teak bowl as the outer frame.  Painted in the center to really showcase the hummingbird.

It turned out so fun + I am in LOVE!

- 6" wide (outer Teak frame)

- 2.25" deep

- fully hand stitched in my favorite French knots

- keyhole on the back allows you to hang the sculpture flush, from a single nail
