Embroidered Hummingbird in Flower Frame | Green

I loved getting to work with this new hummingbird shape and feel like it really came to life inside the flower frame!

I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a  special vintage flower bowl to pull it all together. Plus, the shimmery green background feels like the perfect permanent sky for this hummingbird and pulls from some of the colors mixed into the knots of the body. The flower shaped bowl is a huge cherry on top of an already yummy Sundae!

*Teak outer frame is a used, vintage piece, which means it may have signs of wear and tear that only add to the story of the overall piece.  

** It's best to hang your fiber art piece in a place that doesn't get direct sun and I don't recommend touching the fibers.
