Embroidered Angler Fish | Purple Stripes + Disco
I like to think of the anglers as a joyful little reminder of light, however small.
Sometimes you need to shine that little light on a chunky, little disco ball. It's just the truth.

I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots (plus purple stripes!) and used a truly special, extra chunky teak bowl to pull it all together. Every once in a while there are frames that are extra hard to part with, just because they're so beautiful and they're all one of a kind...this is definitely one of those!
The fish frames are handmade by a couple down in Florida, they're amazing and so fun to incorporate into my work. I love all the details in this piece and believe that larger size will really add a bold impact to wherever you choose to display it.
The yummy, deep moody purple, shimmery background adds the best bit of depth to the piece too.
*Teak outer frame is a used, vintage piece, which means it may have signs of wear and tear that only add to the story of the overall piece.
** It's best to hang your fiber art piece in a place that doesn't get direct sun and I don't recommend touching the fibers.
