I like to think of the anglers as a joyful little reminder of light, however small.
Sometimes you need to shine that little light on a little disco ball. It's just the truth.

I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots (plus pink stripes!) and used a truly special, extra chunky teak bowl to pull it all together. Every once in a while there are frames that are extra hard to part with, just because they're so beautiful and they're all one of a kind...this is definitely one of those!
The fish frames are handmade by a couple down in Florida, they're amazing and so fun to incorporate into my work. I love all the details in this piece and believe that larger size will really add a bold impact to wherever you choose to display it.
The yummy, deep moody magenta, shimmery background adds the best bit of depth to the piece too. This color was EXTRA hard to photograph, but in real life it is a deep berry pink that really pulls from the darker knots at the bottom of the fish. I have videos of it on instagram that help show off the color pretty well, too.
*Teak outer frame is a used, vintage piece, which means it may have signs of wear and tear that only add to the story of the overall piece.
** It's best to hang your fiber art piece in a place that doesn't get direct sun and I don't recommend touching the fibers.
