Embroidered Folk Art Bird in Teak Oval Frame | Golden Sun

Years ago, I made some embroidered brooches in these beautiful wooden frames sourced from a couple who makes them by hand (!!!).  Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch.

Now I'm playing with some of their newer frames - like this amazing folk art bird!

I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a vintage teak oval bowl to pull it all together.  I decided to really go for a bold background choice with this shimmery, golden yellow because sometimes you just need a permanent burst of sunshine, right?!

• 7.25" tall (outer Teak frame)
• 5" wide
• 2.25" deep

- fully hand stitched in my favorite French knots

- keyhole on the back allows you to hang the sculpture flush, from a single nail
